Privacy Policy

Introduction
This policy explains what this site records when you read it, what it does not record, and who else sees data about your visit. It covers doublett.org and nothing else. Reading the site means you accept what is described here.
Information We Collect
The site collects no account data, because it has no accounts. Standard server logs record the requested page, the referring page, an approximate location derived from your network address, your browser and device type, and the timestamp. If you send a message through the contact form or subscribe for updates, we hold the name, email address, and message text you typed so we can answer you. Neither form takes payment details, and no payment is ever processed here.
Cookies and Analytics
Two kinds of storage are in use. A small local entry remembers whether you dismissed the cookie notice, so the notice stops reappearing on every page. Google Analytics sets its own cookies to count visits and report which pages get read and for how long, in aggregate. You can block or delete all of it in your browser settings, and the site keeps working when you do. Declining the notice leaves the site fully readable.
Third-Party Links
Product links on this site lead to external retail pages and carry an affiliate tag that credits the referral. Once you follow one, the destination site handles your data under its own policy, including whatever cookies it sets to attribute the visit. We receive commission reporting in aggregate and never see your name, address, payment details, or what you bought.
Security
Pages are served over an encrypted connection, and form submissions travel the same way. No sensitive category of personal data is requested or stored. That said, no site can promise perfect security, so treat any message you send as you would ordinary email.
Children's Privacy
This site is written for adults buying furniture and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child sent us something, write to the address below and we will delete it.
Your Choices
Write to us to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. Unsubscribe links appear in every update email. Browser settings control cookies and local storage, and most browsers also send a do-not-track signal that we honor by not adding further tracking of our own.
Changes to Policy
Revisions land on this page with a new date at the top. Material changes will be described here rather than sent individually.
